The office was a flurry of activity as Maggie breezed past the cubicles, her heels clicking on the polished floor. She was Maggie to her coworkers - the liberated girl. Always with a smile, a kind word, and a laugh that lit up a room.

"Morning sunshine!" she called out, waving to a few favorites. They smiled and waved back, envious of her spirit. Maggie settled into her corner office, kicked off her red pumps, and slipped on her fuzzy socks - the office uniform.

As she fired up her laptop, her phone buzzed. It was an interoffice message - they were having an emergency all-hands meeting in the conference room. Maggie sighed. These meetings were always a time suck. But she grabbed a notebook and headed over anyway to see what fresh hell was in store this time...
